I don't think that a watch company like Omega would to this with Taylor, after all they have that NASA, and James Bond collaboration that seems to be working well for them. TAG has a new venture with Porsche, and the Carrera line.
True.
But Breitling partnered with Bentley, and that worked out pretty well...
Breitling with Bentley I think is a strange partnership in my opinion. Bentley and Vacheron Constantin I can understand. Breitling is a low to mid level Luxury watch. Bentley is top range luxury. Breitling is a excellent watch and I have played with the idea of getting a Navitimer or a Windrider over the years just never dropped the coin on one.
It's interesting that you find the Bentley/Breitling partnership strange, yet don't comment on Taylor's partnership with a watch brand that can be bought in a coffee shop.
Don't get me wrong. I understand that it's the whole "wood" thing, but I think a company as respected and well thought of as Taylor could've done that with just about anyone...
I guess I will just reiterate, what has been already said by others, that it appears that the reason that they teamed up on this was because their shared values with respect to sustainability. I don’t see anything wrong with that or any reason why they should have considered doing this with anyone else . That’s good enough for be me.
Full disclosure, I am a big fan of both companies. OG makes nice watches. Are they the best quality or most expensive watches out there? Nope. But they are nice watches. I have received tons of compliments. It’s a pretty sure bet I’ll be buying the Taylor watch . .. seriously.
Here’s my OG collection
that’s awesome! i remember looking at a cocobolo one a while back
my friend has one that his girlfriend gave him and it’s cool for sure
Hey Zee I am all in when I see one made from cocobolo, that would be a must have.
