Taylor number 2 for me is a 114e lefty model. I purchased a gs mini a few months ago and couldn’t resist getting something a bit larger to go with it. When playing the two guitars side by side I was impressed by the GS mini which has a similar sound although maybe a little less focussed. Both guitars sound and look great.

Looks great, you've got a couple Taylor's now that will keep you busy. I love the headstock streaking. I wonder what #3 will be.  ;)

Nice!  I have a 114ce that lives with friends in Anchorage for my trips up there (which have not happened for a while now).  While I own "nicer" guitars higher up the Taylor food chain, the 114 has been fine for week-long guitar camps where I play it for 55-60 hours in classes and jams that week, and to have on hand during trips without risking anything on the airlines.

If only we could have bought guitars this nice when I was starting out....
Taylors:  424-LTD (all koa) and a 114ce that lives with friends in Alaska.  Low maintenance carbon fiber guitars are my "thing" these days, but I will always keep the koa 424.  Several ukulele and bass guitars too.
*Gone but not forgotten:  a 2001 414ce, 410, 354-LTD twelve string, 314-N, 416-LTD baritone, T5 Classic, 615ce, 2006 GS-K, 1996 (first year) Baby

That is a great looking guitar, and as noted above, the 114 produces a really nice sound. Congrats and enjoy.
