Mine arrived yesterday.  As always it looks like some great content.
Regarding the article about Tim Whitehouse retiring.  Tim sure has had great success with photographing Taylor guitars and has done a great job with them.  I have a number of his photos as screensavers, including the maple guitar shown in the article.

I like the article about Marty. I think he does a great job on Youtube.
I second that!!!  He is one of several Youtubers that really help me out.

Got mine today—my first home delivery after a purchase in June.

MP, Zeebow—DO NOT LOOK AT THE BACK COVER!!!

GAS Warning!

Edit:  I’ve just read the columns by Keith Brawley, VP of Sales and Bob T.  I just love the culture of this company. They are becoming so successful, production can’t keep up with sales. And for those of you doubting V-Class, keep trying. To read of their ironclad commitment to this improved design convinces me that they are on to something. Owning one that gets A/B’d with a superb custom HD28V every week convinces me further.

And hey! Got a letter published in “Ask Bob”. See if you can guess who I am.

cool question mr GS, i think it’s very special that we get the opportunity to reach bob directly. love that section of wood and steel

Mine came and as usual lately it did not take long to go through.  I always read the Ask Bob section and Kurt's Corner every issue, plus the letters.  Then scan all the pretty pictures of things I have no intention to buy.  As a recovering photographer, I can always appreciate the splendid photos.

The hyperbole over V-bracing has toned down a bit, and they seem to be describing it now in more realistic and practical terms.  I have no issue with a new, better bracing system - Taylor has always broken the design mold and thought outside the box, and that is much appreciated.  But c'mon - V-bracing cannot cure cancer and is not the best thing since sliced bread.  I'm glad they moderated the advertising copy.
Taylors:  424-LTD (all koa) and a 114ce that lives with friends in Alaska.  Low maintenance carbon fiber guitars are my "thing" these days, but I will always keep the koa 424.  Several ukulele and bass guitars too.
*Gone but not forgotten:  a 2001 414ce, 410, 354-LTD twelve string, 314-N, 416-LTD baritone, T5 Classic, 615ce, 2006 GS-K, 1996 (first year) Baby

I was a long way there. Just received mine. And a strong GAS came :). 614ce BE. It looks fantastic!
But I’am afraid my wife would not share this feeling :(
