Nice acquisition dude!

Primary difference between the 3-series limited and the K series would be Standard-II vs CV bracing.

And some bling of course.

First thing about Koa is the look which is great but just play the heck out of it and watch the guitar open up for sound. Koa will evolve its sound over time more so I think than any other wood. Enjoy!!!

Huh!  Small world!  I recently spent four years (2009-2013) in Lexington, KY working a job site there.  And now I'm going to be heading back for another year starting in a couple of weeks...

I only had one chance to visit Willcutt.  They've got an odd shop -- it looks like an old house that's been stuffed full of guitars.  But the folks there are very nice and helpful.

Yes, it is a small world! If you get a chance to visit the Willcutt shop during the coming year, be sure to check out the repair shop -- it's in a separate building across the street. Its main hallway is filled with display cases of really unusual custom made guitars, and vintage guitars. It's like a little museum. Plus you can chat up Bob Willcutt if he's there, or the other luthier whose name I can't remember right now.

I'll make an effort to do so.  Thanks!
