Another old guy with a new Taylor :)

I have had Taylor guitars off and on for many years (always a 410 CE)  and always tell people "I never played a Taylor guitar I didnt like !"  Being from Oklahoma, I figure thats an appropriate term to use.   Currently I have a Taylor mini GS and a Taylor Academy nylon string guitar...I really love them both, altho I know they are bottom of the line Taylors, they still beat most top of the line of other brands !   I like to play Chet style guitar and have considered getting a Taylor guitar suited for that purpose, but I like my Gretsch Country Gentleman just fine.   I have been playing for 55 years, (since I was 16) and also play pedal steel and Hawaiian steel guitar (non-pedal).   I just found this forum and look forward to reading posts and getting encouragement to buy more Taylor guitars...haha

welcome! the gs mini is a beloved guitar and the academy series is fantastic too. the nylon is a lifx too 12 fret, which makes it super cool in my book.

rumor is the dreadnaught are all getting an update soon..
