Extra buzzing on Taylor V-braced guitars?
« on: July 17, 2018, 05:50:41 PM »
Hi there
I've been tempted several times to buy a new Taylor V-braced guitar but I'm finding that they tend to buzz much easier when capo'd than previous Taylors I own.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is this simply a side effect of the new bracing allowing the string to vibrate more??

Michael

I've played a few of them, both with and without a capo, and never noticed any buzzing at all.

I have not heard any buzzing, but I HAVE noticed that the intonation ("in-tuneness") of the caped guitar is WAAAAAAAYYYYYY better that standard X bracing.

I've only been playing my new 324e for a couple of days now, and I've played up and down the neck...no buzzing on mine!
