Now I'm posting from my desktop (Windows 7 and Chrome).  Doesn't seem to be a problem.  I kinda recall seeing this sort of issue with documents that I sometimes receive from a Mac user created on Apple's word processor.

Taylors:  424-LTD (all koa) and a 114ce that lives with friends in Alaska.  Low maintenance carbon fiber guitars are my "thing" these days, but I will always keep the koa 424.  Several ukulele and bass guitars too.
*Gone but not forgotten:  a 2001 414ce, 410, 354-LTD twelve string, 314-N, 416-LTD baritone, T5 Classic, 615ce, 2006 GS-K, 1996 (first year) Baby

Thankfully Apple offers their customers "ease of use" software for the big bucks they charge for their products.  :P

Everything after the apostrophe in do not disappeared.  Maybe it is something to do with Safari and Apple products?

It does seem to affect Safari more than any other browser - any iMac or MacBook Pro users here who can weigh in? I did find an article specifically addressing the issue, but it's something that Apple would need to fix on their end.

I had not noticed revisions happening after the fact, but I don't post that often these days.  I have noticed it in other's posts.
My guess is that a recent software update to the forum OS is doing this.  (I put a "don't" into that sentence to test the hypothesis).  So far, so good after looking at my post just now.

The admin updated the software as a precaution, but the issue still persists. :-\

It is not just Safari.

I use an older iPad Air running IOS 14.5.1 and have tried both Safari and Firefox with the same results. I have also cleared the cookies, logged out and back in to this forum and forced a reboot on my iPad. None of these have had any effect on the apostrophe problem.

On the plus side, it is making me be less lazy by not allowing contractions of words. I have to spell everything out now.  ;)

Are you using Firefox on an iPad or posting from something else? :o

I generally use Safari but have used Firefox to test. I got the same results from both - no text after an apostrophe.

I came to Taylor through my search for a good 12-string. Had the 458e for a while and a year later I did a custom order for a 856c, one of the last ones before they stopped. I didn't like the on-board electronic, so no pickup installed and I wanted the Venetian cutaway vs the Florentine.
When the first V brace 12 strings hit the market I loved the idea about the smaller bodies. I tried them a few times, nice guitars but they didn't win me over.
I will stay with my custom 856c. The V bracing is interesting but not for me.

For many years my 2007 514ce has been one of my favorite guitars which include other brands.  However the last time(this last week)I pulled out the guitar I had a bit of a ho-hum feeling and have been actually considering a sell-off.  I have been reading the pro and cons on this thread and it got me thinking about maybe I should try and different brand.

In the last few years, I have been in a trimming down mode with my guitars, mostly brand X guitars but still, I have been thinning the herd so to speak. Checking out and exploring the new additions that Taylor has been producing the last few years has been intriguing, never enough to pull the proverbial trigger.

I opened the guitar case and was looking at the guitar, contemplating the separation.  I noticed that the strings looked a bit tired and I thought this guitar deserved at least one more restring from me, even if I part ways with it.
I pulled out a set of Elixer Nanoweb strings and proceeded to restring.  There is something always so satisfying about the act of a completed string change, it is a therapeutic kind of thing.

I played that guitar for a pretty long time to make sure a separation was really warranted.  After that night I can say that Taylor guitars still do it for me.  I love that 514ce, and there is no longer any desire to sell it off. I did not give that guitar any time off this Labor Day weekend.

So, the answer is YES Taylor guitars still do it for me.  From my oldest to the newest Taylors I am still a big fan.  I will not allow the forum naysayers to sway my feelings on the brand again.  I understand hobbyists tend to buy, sell, and trade to enhance their hobby, but I think I am pretty well set on my flock and although I will end up getting new models I am sure the current inventory will stay with me for the foreseeable future.
