After days of looking gave in and got New Taylor

I said I am not doing it....nope. Not buying a new acoustic this year...well maybe in the fall. Then I saw the new Taylor 320 Hog. I have a real weakness for mahogany as seen in my D15(older)D15M (newer) plus all hog Guild(old). . Being a Taylor really had me interested but there was no feedback on them as this is the only dread I have seen so far. Did find a little on YouTube and I liked what I heard and how they looked. Still went back and forth checking daily to see if it was still there. only one dread 3 or 4 GA's and GC's .This went on for 5 days when I saw it was still there today I caved and got it. Now a couple days shipping before it gets here. Not buying anything the rest of the year...well at least till fall.

Mahogany fan here too.  But I am not buying any new acoustic this year either. >:( :o ;) :D ;D

Nice!  Congratulations on the new acquisition.

It may be a psychological thing, but I've found if I don't say, "I'm not going to buy... (insert object of desire here)", there is less of an inner need to actually buy.   ;)

My wife is the same way with chocolate: if it's there, she doesn't crave it.  Not me - if it's there, then I'm supposed to eat it!   ;D  I think the same thing applies to guitars.  Forget that psychological stuff... just enjoy the new guitar!   8)

Very nice looking Taylor hog.  I bet it sounds great. I'm in the same boat.....I keep telling myself that I'm done buying instruments this year. We'll see.  ;)

Congratulations!  That is a great looking guitar--I love the look of the dark mahogany, simple appointments & black pick guard--very classy!  Now you just have to endure the wait until it arrives... :)  but I'm sure it will be worth it! Hope to hear more about it once it arrives!
