At the end of the day, I think if Bob Taylor is happy to openly disclose his faith and not keep it private, then he is happy for people to know about it and discuss it - remembering that his main area of expertise is guitars.
I believe that the OP was referring to Bob's professional and personal philosophies as a whole.
The main point that I took from the article is working on one's strengths and seeing how those areas can be expanded upon, not only to meet a goal but to see what else might be able to be accomplished. It applies to business and other areas as well, kind of the way that the lyrics of a song that come from a 'secular' band may have religious overtones without intending to, but some times it can be about a person or a higher power. It's all up to interpretation and whether someone agrees or doesn't, if the music being put there is being heard and enjoyed, is there anything else that really matters ?
Application has many different avenues and if one thinks 'outside the box' as well as 'inside the box', then some of the results can be well beyond what was originally envisioned. Whether the person believes that it was all their doing, or if they had 'outside' help, is up to the individual and if they give credit where they feel credit is due, more power to them.
