NGD - 618e First Edition
« on: March 09, 2013, 09:31:10 PM »
Hi everybody,

It has been a long time since I have posted on this great forum (I finally found my password)! ;)
Anyway, yesterday I added a beautiful 618e First Edition to my collection!  About 6 weeks ago, I purchased a 518e First Edition and absolutely love it!  There just so happened to be one 618e available for me to audition in my hometown, and after getting a good price....I just had to have it!

As far as which I like better.....hmmmm.....that would be like saying which child you like better - right?  I do feel really fortunate to own a 518e and 618e First Edition GO.  Fantastic guitars!

IMO Taylor really knocked it out of the park with the GO!  ;D

Wow, two NGDs!!  Congrats.  I got to play both the 518 and 618 and they are wonderful guitars.  Enjoy!!

Congrats!!
I'm in a similar situation like yours (918e & 618e). After I bought 918e, I could not forget about the 618e I auditioned together with 918e and went back to buy.
618e is getting most of my attention nowadays. It's certainly a great guitar.

Thanks guys!

I do think it is awesome that I was able to purchase the last 618e First Edition in my city!  The shop I purchased it from is the only one in my city to have any GO First Editions as far as I know.

Giraku, a big congrats to you as well.  I am sure we are in the minority of owning 2 of the GO First Editions!  We are very fortunate indeed!  :)

Congratulations on your 618e! I have one on layaway and it was a hard choice between the 518e and the 618e, though I doubt either was the wrong choice.

Thanks guys, and congrats quake17 on laying away a 618e.  I am sure you will be very pleased just as I am.

I must say that I am equally impressed and pleased with my 518e.  Both are great guitars, and I don't have a favorite at this time!  I truly love them both.  8)
