been having fun the last couple of days
« on: January 27, 2013, 07:04:51 PM »
Well about 6 months after the original release I had a GS mini. I sold it as I just for some reason just did not think I used it enough etc. I also have a 816CE and use that every week at church.  the idea of the mini had been grabbing me again. Especially when I sit at computer trying to figure out new songs for the worship team via charts and or you tube.  I don`t have alot of space at desktop and always freeking out about banging the 816ce up.  Also been wanting to learn more blues style playing and even slide. the 816CE is notthe best git for that.  The GS mini has been fun.  I played them for a while and just recently came across one that really sounded nice!. above average from others I have played.  So now I have one again and am having a blast with it. my hands love it too. At 50 playing the 816CE all the time gets a bit hard on fingers and hands after a while.  to me though what I find is having a totally different sound and tone to play keeps things enjoyable. While my 816ce is probably one of the sweetest sounding guitars I ahve owned the totrally different tone of the mini is a nice addition. Aloows me to do some other stuff. Practice electric scales and riffs with out having to plug the PRS in all the time lol.

Anyway am having fun with one again!
