...and same to you, Edward!  :)

Hope everyone had a safe and pleasant celebration.

(It feels good to get back to the land of the living...we just had our 2nd monthly neighborhood party since the beginning of Covid.)

Happy Independence Day!

Let's pray that we can return to the values this nation was founded upon, especially our gift of  responsible free speech and respect for our differences.  May we all be united once again!

Indeed, full agreement on all counts!

And last Saturday was our first gig back ...yeaahhhhh, music live, who'd of thought it, LOL??!!!!  Folks were there, enjoying a rockin night, and it all felt so, um, normal!  Goes to show how much we take for granted as a people.  Which brings me back to my declaration of love and gratitude for this grand nation I call my own.  Be well, all.  May you celebrate with loved ones; enjoy the splendor that we have inherited from the innumerable who paid the price for us.

A belated Happy Independence Day to all. I was able to get out and play… We have a local reading of the Declaration of Independence celebration that has been going on for 20 years in my small community of 1100 people. As a warm up to Thomas Jefferson, I was asked to play a couple patriotic songs. I played Where the Stars and Stripes and Eagle Flies by Aaron Tippen and Lee Greenwood’s God Bless the USA. It was great to get out and play and celebrate our country.
