I’ve always wanted to learn to play guitar, so that is what I’m doing as a retirement project. It’s never too late to learn! I bought my first guitar almost two years ago, a Yamaha FG820. I just recently purchased my first Taylor guitar. I bought a 224ce Deluxe with solid Koa top and layered Koa back and sides. Beautiful guitar and sounds very nice. Oh, I’m also a lefty.

Welcome to the forum tbwill. Great looking Koa top, Taylor really did a nice wood selection on that one.

It's a great guitar and great value. I came real close to buying one (actually I did take it home for a few days, but then a 717BE came in, and took that instead).
The Koa sounds so sweet on that one.

tbwill,
Allow me to add my welcome.
Really nice looking instrument you have there. Can't look too long or I might get a case of G.A.S., which I've manage to keep under control for a few years.
