Hello from the SoCal desert!
When I was about 60 I got horrible arthritis and had to give up guitar. Sold my precious Taylor 614 and moved on to playing ukulele, which my hands could handle. Well, a few months ago my wife got a new parlor guitar (Gretsch) and I played with it a bit and discovered my hands were much better now at 71! I ran out and bought a new Taylor 214CE, but in a day or two discovered it was just WAY TOO BIG (but wow gorgeous) for me to handle comfortably for casual playing. Sadly, I marched it back to the store for an exchange, but discovered the GS-MINI KOA! WOWZER! What a magnificent parlor-style guitar! I fell in love instantly!
So, here I am!

Great to hear you're "back in the saddle again" with a new Taylor GS mini. They are fun, great sounding guitars....you'll find a lot of love for them around here. Welcome to the forum too, a great place, full of wonderful members and good conversation.
Make sure you add your guitar to our 2019 count:

Great choice, of my 2 GS Mini’s the Koa is my favorite.
Does it have the built in tuner like a friends walnut one has?
:D Danny

Indeed! I really struggled with the 214ce that I first bought. I really couldn't get my arms around it! The mini is such a delight to play for an old geezer with not as much mobility and strength as I once had.

Welcome to you and welcome back to the Taylor fold. Those Minis are hard to beat on many levels. How about a pic?

I'll get a picture on Saturday.
