Hello to my fellow guitar addicts,
I have one unusual Taylor, a Big Baby model with a scalloped fretboard.
I previously owned a Big Baby, bought in Chicago when they were first introduced but gave it to a work colleague's kid who was learning to play and struggling with their instrument (high action).
This one with the scalloped fretboard was a guitar I spotted in a Dublin guitar shop a few years ago and my wife later secretly bought it for me as a gift :).
It's an interesting guitar to play, I'd only ever played electric guitars with scalloped boards, it's very comfortable and articulate.
Anyone else ever tried an acoustic guitar with a scalloped fretboard?

Welcome Mr Stomper! I tried the big babys when I was looking for a new qcoustic and I really enjoyed it, and thought it was fairly priced. I can't tell you if it was scalloped or not but I really liked the playability and comfort holding it. I wound up getting a 110e instead. The fuller sound from the larger body was the reason.
