Title: Top of the Morning on St. Patrick's Day
Post by: donlyn on March 17, 2019, 12:59:59 AM
Happy St. Patricks Day!

Éirinn go Brách

And to start things off, I will be playing my arrangement of "The Rising of the Moon" as a fingerpicked instrumental on my 458e-R 12 string for my first tune of the morning.

Curiously, March 17th is also a Boston holiday called "Evacuation Day". Putting Ticonderoga cannon on Dorchester Heights overlooking the harbor forced the British Army to leave on that date in 1776.

Same to you, Don!  Don't drink too much of that green beer or you'll be seein' leprechauns for sure...!

No green beer for me, no siree.

The Guinness is in us, Timothy.

Now, where's that pot o' gold . . .

On these occasions, I meself tend to gravitate to the Baileys...

Gotta keep chasing the end of the rainbow to get the pot o' gold... ;)

End of the rainbow.

That's somewhere off in the aether, sort of like them ghost riders in the sky?

Cue guitar . . .
