Well I just posted my introduction, a few minutes ago.
Telling about I just got a W-14-C, 3 months ago. When I got it I was told they are very rare and hard to find.
So I wanted to find out how true this was so I contacted Taylor.
In 1998 they only made 259 of these guitars.
In 1999 only 104
In 2000 only 67
That is a grand total of only 430 guitars. and some were shipped out of the country. I wish I had asked that question also.
Just to see how many are now in the U.S.
I seen a member on here has one for sale, If any one of you got a chance to play it. I know you would buy it.
I am almost tempted to buy it as a back up, just knowing how they play and sound.

Here are pictures of my sweet little Baby!
Note the picture of the back (is penetrated from the flash making it looking much lighter)the black walnut is much darker.
My hat goes off to the 1st and second owner of this guitar, They kept it humidified, and in almost in pristine condition.
There is nothing like taking care of a high end guitar! Just like caring for a new born baby!!!

Looks great. And there's nothing like a nicely aged cedar top either.
Enjoy!

She sure is a beauty! As I said in your other post, cedar/black walnut is a killer combo - no other guitar sounds like it. Here are some pics of my 97 Cujo with the same wood combo:

I hope you enjoy your new baby as much as I have over the last 21 years.....

Glad you dig your awesome W-14c. I am the owner of the one for sale below. If I did not have a new Custom Build in process mine would not be FS!
If you haven't experienced a mid to late 90s high end Taylor you may not know how different from the new ones they are. Plenty of structural differences under the hood. The big one being the mass of the NT neck block.
These babies really SING.
have fun!
