Well I been a closet song writer for about 40 years, I played a Ovation since the 1990's, Fender strat and a Tele.
But my brother always had high end Martins, and Taylors the last 10 years.
So 3 months ago I told him to find me the best sounding and playing Taylor he could. 2 days later he called and said a local rocker
Has his 1999 W-14-C for sell, So we met him at his work, after playing that guitar, I never heard any guitar sound like this. The 20
+ years of the ceder top and black walnut ageing into the most unique sound I ever Heard.
It was like the sky's above Cincinnati opened up and the music Gods dropped this awesome guitar into my hands.
And I find out these guitars are some what rare to find.
Which I will post why on the Taylor guitar thread in a few.
By the way my song writing will be coming out of the closet soon.

Welcome C. Dave. Sounds like a special Taylor. Pictures are always encouraged.

Congrats Dave. That is truly a special guitar. I have a 1997 Taylor Cujo 14 with the same wood combo that I bought new in 97. To this day, it is my most magical guitar even with the other six Taylors in my collection.
Enjoy!
