Title: New from Lawrenceville Ga.
Post by: Ron on February 21, 2019, 07:30:33 PM
Hi all, I just found the site. As a relative newbie, I picked up a slightly used Taylor 214CE last fall after starting with a Yamaha FG230S. Only been playing about three years now, never new first thing about music. Nothing! Three years of lessons and still not very good, but it’s fun trying! I’m retired, so I do have time on my side, if I live long enough.... So I may be asking a lot of questions..
Cheers
Ron

Welcome Ron. You said it perfectly...
but it’s fun trying!
Music should be about the joy it brings.
Glad you're here.

Welcome to the forum.  I'm of retirement age but far from retired -- closest to re-tiring was this morning, when I put 4 new ones on my Subaru,,,,,, 8).  Keep up with the practicing and lessons--it will pay off, will really "click" one day soon....

That's my hope I continue to cling to! That one day all the pieces of songs I can get will actually allow me to put a complete one together....
Frustrating, but never give up...

Ron, may you live long and prosper, in your (eventual - it will come) guitar prowess!  :)
