Title: Where is Guitar Rodeo?
Post by: Iplay2 on January 26, 2012, 11:10:30 PM
I noticed that Guitar Rodeo is no longer a sponsor on the AGF, and then I saw that Jim had a ton of guitars on Ebay, and now the website for Guirar Rodeo is gone!!!!!

Jim...are you out there?

I have bought 2 guitars from Jim, and I sure hope that all is well.

Jim and Guitar Rodeo's Sponsorship of the AGF did end briefly, and it took a bit to get the company logo back in place. But he is again a major AGF Sponsor, and a very highly respected one. I have no knowledge of their website or eBay sales, but when I talked to Jim last, he was very much in business. I recommend calling him if you have any questions. He's a great guy, and you'll enjoy talking with him!

No, Guitar Rodeo is back as an AGF sponsor as far as I can see.

As for the website, didn't Jim post somewhere that it was being revised??

I emailed him a few days ago with a question and Jim replied right away.  Everything's ok, AFAICT.

Do not worry.

GR is very much in business, there was mention on the website a few days ago that he was going to update it.
Phone still works.

Jim is alive and well.  Saw him two weeks ago.  The ebay stuff are some trades and some older guitars that haven't moved and he lists them on ebay.  The website is having an overhaul done (there was an announcement on the old website about it) and it has taken longer than anticipated.  He said there would be a lot of new stuff on the new site including new higher quality photos.

We are here-no worries. We are sponsors at AGF again (long story). We are busily updating the web site and yes, there are a lot of guitars on eBay. The new photo standard is shown with the eBay listings, and the guitars on eBay are SCREAMING DEALS. When we are finished with the site tweaks, the eBay listings will be fewer and the pricing will be higher (hint). We are just taking care of business and we are grateful for the support of all of our customers and fans. Please be patient, it will worth the wait and we promise to give you all something to talk about soon.

Since we've gotten an answer directly from Jim, we don't have to speculate.  If you have any questions I'm sure that you could PM, or email Jim etc.  :)
