I've been playing around with one at the local GC, and it seems like it would be fun to own. if you own one, do you use it often, or only in jam sessions with friends?
Thanks,
Boone

Hey Boone we use one quite a bit with our college band at church. It's wonderful for acoustic praise sessions etc. It's pretty cool really, you get that high end snare drum effect on the edges and that nice deep, hollow bass towards the middle. The cool part is that you can stic a mic in it and really amplify it over the sound system especially if the guitars are plugged in etc. 8)

My friend brings one to our monthly jam session. I like the sounds he produces and since you sit on it to play, he isn't taking up one of the "armless" chairs we all fight over!!
It also makes a convenient carrying case for all the other rhythm makers he brings.

I gots me a Meinl and love it. Great for acoustic jams. I've also been known to mic it up in the back and play it with a full band. Sounds great IMO. User-friendly too.
