Title: Anyone here own a cajon?

It's wonderful for acoustic praise sessions etc. It's pretty cool really, you get that high end snare drum effect on the edges and that nice deep, hollow bass towards the middle. The cool part is that you can stic a mic in it and really amplify it over the sound system especially if the guitars are plugged in etc. 8)

It also makes a convenient carrying case for all the other rhythm makers he brings.

Post by: DMBfan41 on January 25, 2012, 07:18:55 PM: I gots me a Meinl and love it. Great for acoustic jams. I've also been known to mic it up in the back and play it with a full band. Sounds great IMO. User-friendly too.
