Looking forward to your report, Phil, especially if you can contrast it with the standard model.

I'd like to hear a comparison of the hog top with your Cargo. Post some pics to tide me over until Monday when mine arrives.
-
Okay Phil,
It is 2:50 here and no pictures yet.... No, I am confident you are still taking your time to enjoy her at the store and then at home before giving an update. I know I would :)
-
Come on, no review yet?
-
Phil stated 'later in the day', not 'later today' ;)
seeing that today is tomorrows yesterday,
what day of the week is 'the day' ??? ;D
please let us know how long those Elixir 80/20 NanoWeb mediums last,
because hopefully you're continuing to 'play the strings oft 'er' right now :)
congrats :D

I've got it home...the little monster...have a/b'd it with a spruce top GS Mini and my Cargo. Still playing with it...but also working on my house getting it ready to sell. That seems to be taking up a lot of my time, for some reason. Will have more info and revue soon.

the little monster -

or, triple M (Mini Mahogany Monster) ;)
i hope all the house dealings go well -
i know all too well what that's about :o

@flaggerphil -- Did you go to Fazio's, or somewhere else? Kinda curious where I can go (in town) to take a look at one.
My spruce-top Mini has a Colosi vintage bone saddle and vintage bone pin set installed, so I'm not convinced I'd have a fair A/B comparison with mine (and trying to compare to a stock spruce-top), but I'd still like to try it! :-)
Congrats -- can't wait to hear one these Triple-M's!

Fazio's it was. As of Friday afternoon they still had two left.
-
Awesome! Guess I know where I might end up tomorrow... Fazio's is about two miles from my home!
My wife would say that's a dangerous distance.

I'm interested in hearing the reports. Taylor does good things with Mahogany!

And the idea of a Mahogany top Taylor got me thinking of this D-15, which had been redone by Peter Cree:

I think a Taylor would look stunning with this sort of art!
