Title: Who is in Charge of this Board?

I'm having an occasional problem when I log in to this forum. If I haven't been here for a 3-4 days, when I come to this site I get a screen with a captcha form on it, and there is a little explanation at the bottom from something called Lifelock that says all I have to do to stop this captcha from occurring all the time is to press a button in the upper right of the screen. However, there is no button there.

This was more of an annoyance than anything else, but now it says that there is a cutoff date at which point the captcha thing is not going to work anymore. I can't figure out what the problem is. Does anybody else have this problem or can steer me to an official on this board who might be able to give me more info?

Just to get some info, what browser are you using? And have you tried clearing your cache to see if that helps?

Thanks for the tip, Cindy. I am using Firefox 58.0.2. I had forgotten to clean the cache, so I did do that just now. When I logged back in here, FF gave me a little popup that says that the login box has an insecure connection (but still allowed me to log in), so I don't know if that's related.

I'll have to wait a couple of days to see if the Captcha message pops up again, and I'll report back to you.

Hi Essiecab, I'm not aware of any captcha setting on my end.  I think it just might be a local browser issue.

After clearing my cache in my browser and waiting a couple of days, I have not received the captcha message again, so hopefully that cleared it all up. Thanks everyone for the help  :D

I experience this message already, and I've been part of the forum only a few days - using Chrome 71.0.3578.98 on a Mac. It's only shown up once so far. I'll try the cache clearing remedy if/when it shows up again. Very weird though, I can't imagine it being a local/browser issue.
