Title: SOLD: 2014 Taylor 812ce 12fret
Post by: milo_otis on April 10, 2017, 08:48:32 AM
This is very well cared for Taylor 812ce 12 fret with ES2 installed. It is in excellent to Mint condition and in the same shape as when it was purchased new at my local guitar shop. It has been stored in its case and humidified between 52-55% when not played and has had less than 50 hours of playing time.

It has a wonderful smoky ebony fingerboard, beautiful rosewood sides and back, with a creamy Sitka Spruce top completed by a full, punchy and balanced tone to match. The hand feel and playability is one of the reasons Taylor guitars are so loved!

I will include the Oasis humidifier, filling syringe and 3 sets of Martin .0125-.055 bronze strings that were purchased for it. It ships in the OHSC and Taylor shipping box with the original paperwork.

I am selling due to prefering to be purely an electric extended range guitarist.

$2600 + shipping to lower 48 states only.

You have the armrest on upside down, or else it's a left handed armrest!

I play in right handed classical position with the guitar resting on my left knee. I modified (cut, beveled the resting side and sanded the finish off) a full sized ebony armrest because though I've used the "right-handed" slim version it never felt right. With this modified armrest, my right forearm felt much more comfortable. Once again it's modified and removable, so if a person wanted to remove it, they could. If a right handed player who used classical style positioning wanted it, it would likely work better for them than the "correct" positioning.
