One thing I find off-putting when I play is string squeak, which is more pronounced on my 214 than my T5z - presumably because of the wound G. Also some of the effects I use on my amp don't help, but I just like them. I know string noise can be minimised through technique and that some noise is inevitable, but I'm always looking for anything that can help.
A friend was recently at a guitar show where someone from Sfarzo strings told him that their strings minimise string noise, although I haven't seen this claim on their website. Has anyone had any experience of Sfarzo and can say whether this is true?
