Nice clean job.

Did you pre-drill the holes in the head stock?

I searched the internet to see how others had done it. Following those examples I mounted the tuners and then predrilled the holes through the tuners.
I placed a piece of tape on the drill bit to make sure I did not drill to deep.

I am going to take the original tuners that came on my 814ce and install them on my GS Mini Koa.

Half way there and then all the way there.
I also put the original wooden TRC from my 814ce on the GS Mini Koa.

Nice work on that install! I tried them out on a Builders Edition when I was in South Dakota and I’ve been drooling over them ever since. Too bad they don’t guarantee that I’ll be a better player, or I’d install them yesterday.
