I'm anxious to learn more modern steel string acoustic style instrumental music. But I would prefer to stick with standard tuning.
Thank you

Tommy Emmanuel.
Everything he does is in standard tuning, and you can spend a lifetime analyzing his material.

Thanks! I just started shopping through a list that includes his Method book, Mark Hanson's book, and a couple more.
Before I place a blind order, does anyone have a recommendation for diving in to this Tommy Emmanuel style? In an interview, TE himself said to learn Freight Train, Baby's Comin' Home, and Bye Bye Blackbird from Chet Atkins. So, I reckon those are up first.
