If you want a Taylor hardshell case, your dealer can quote you a price. That will probably provide the best fit for your 114.

Hi there Paul,

A decent, fairly inexpensive hard case can be had from SKB or Gator ...easy peezy.  Just check dimensions carefully and you're good to go.

Sidenote: the GA-bodied Taylors have the typical width of most dreds at the lower bout, but the upper bout will be narrower.  It's not a problem so long as the guitar is snug and doesn't slosh around in the case.  Good neck support and a fit at the lower bout is important in keeping the guit secure, but on the whole, your 114 should not be a problem to fit!

Thanks guys,

My local guitar shop carries the Taylor hard cases but never seems to have any in stock. :(

I might just have to shop around further afield and take the guitar with me to test fit a few.

The shipping costs are more than the case if I ordered one from the US.
