Just trying to play ~ nuff said. :)
Began playing ( self -taught ) about 2 1/2 years ago
My first "brand new" guitar is my GS mini. Although I consider myself a beginner, it does make a huge difference to play/practice on a quality instrument and the mini although small is that. Now, if and when the budget allows a 414 - 8xx series would be a dream come true!
See you around.

Hi Bruce! Yes, having a nice, quality, comfortable guitar can make all the difference. The GS mini's are great for learning. With your determination, I'm sure you'll have a 400-800 in your camp at some point. A wonderful goal. Plenty of help around these parts, if you have questions. Glad you joined us.

Welcome Bruce from a fellow Bruce! Man, if GS Minis were around when I began playing, it would have been such a blessing! You are fortunate to have the Mini at this point in your journey. Enjoy it and I'm sure you'll graduate to a full size Taylor in no time.
Let us know how we can help!

Hey, Welcome Bruce. I'm pretty new here myself. Just wanted to say hello and that I think PA is a beautiful State. I spent my last 6 months of active duty in Philadelphia at Marine Corps Supply in '69. I went home with a friend to Scranton one weekend who was going to continue his studies to be a Russian Orthodox Priest when he got out. I was fortunate enough to be invited to one of their services. It was quite a learning experience. Congrats on your new Taylor. I love mine. Happy posting...

Welcome. I began my guitar playing exploits in S. E. Pa, while a student at Temple U (1967).

Welcome Bruce. Lot's of Mini enthusiasts on here (myself included), so you're in good company. And you've come to the right place if you want some advice for your future acquisitions -notice I didn't say "upgrade" - you'll be keeping your Mini, right? :-)

Hi Bruce. Welcome to the UTGF. Enjoy your GS Mini and keep on playing.
