I know there's been a lot of interest in these, and it's likely the remaining shipments will be ending before too long.
So, as a P.S.A., it looks like Wildwood got some in recently, including this tasty sample:

it'll be a while longer, since they've been added to the standard line

Sweet looking GSM -- but I am confused. What is th top made of? That looks like Koa as does the one on Taylor site, but th specs say top is Sitka spruce. What is it? Also, how does this sound compared to other GSMs? If it is Sitka top then theoretically it should sound almost same as standard GSM (if Bob is to be believed about the lam back and sides all sounding the same).

The top is solid Koa. They never labeled them inside as LTDs, now I can see why. Not sure that was planned to continue, but they've been very popular.

From my direct experiences, and many threads here on the UTGF, it seems that Taylor's web site can be rife with little errors - things like bone versus Tusq nuts and saddles, and neck width, and top wood. Sometimes it is hard to proffread your own work.
While we love koa, the missus and I are pretty content with her GS Mini mahogany, and we already have two koa Taylor guitars, so won't be rushing out to buy one. That just leaves more for all of you.......
