I'm a Taylor supporter in that I own several Taylors, all grand auditorium models except for my Big Baby. My age is 58 and I've been playing Taylors since the early '90s. I learned to play on a classical guitar but like almost all kinds of music; rap and modern jazz are two exceptions I can think of at the moment.
I came here because the Acoustic Guitar Forum is terminating the Taylor sub-forum. I'm also looking forward to the Taylor Guitars forum that Brian Swerdfeger mentioned in one his posts here.

My oldest Taylor guitar is a 1996 814c

you're welcome :)
nice guitar you've got there ...
the early 814s are pretty special, imho
i had a 97 814c which i enjoyed very much as well -
it had to move on to a new home to help cover vet bills for my dog,
but my veterinarian sure likes playing that guitar (97 814c) :D
have a good evening

HLH... Glad you joined in here with your introduction. It appears you have a little experience with Taylor Guitars. I guess I first noticed them around 2005 and I am glad I did. Looking forawad to hearing more from you.

Hi HLH and welcome! :D I love the Grand Auditorium size bodies, too! Much more comfy to my shoulders than the dred or GS guitars.
