Title: Only Chain Stores carrying Taylors in Florida ?

I was looking at My Favorite Guitars website and there was no Taylor section listed. Putting Taylor into the search bar came up with 4 items.

Taylor's website shows Carlton Music Center, which has 3 locations, and Guitar Center.

It appears there is no longer an independent Taylor dealer in Florida, which is kind of sad especially considering how well Jon and Sharon did with that line. Well, on to bigger and better things for them.

just early last week myfavortireguitars.com had lots of Taylors and Taylor was all over their website along with Martin. Now Taylor is all but gone.. Wonder what happened?

Taylor Guitars recently modified their dealer distribution system. Several dealers, including My Favorite Guitars, were among those not included in this revision. We are glad to have had the opportunity to offer Taylor products in the past but we will now invest our time and effort in expanding our Martin inventory even more completely to better serve our customers. I guess you can call this a chain since there is more than one, but it is a relatively small, family owned business at this time.

Here is a great local shop in Melbourne that just held a Taylor Road Show last week:
