Does anyone know much a Taylor 914CE L7 in mint
condition would sell for?

What do you want to know about the Taylor 914ce L7 ?   
 I have 1 at this time  of the L7s,   this one is a   914ce.  I had 5 at one time few years ago.

 I woundn't sell mine for $!&+=^3%,323%&0)8%.00   ;)

I have located a mint 2004 914CE-L7 (brazillian with engelmann top),
and want to make a fair offer for it. I think these will only increase in value
with time, if properly cared for.

Buy it... Best £££ we ever spent on a 6-string guitar.

If you only want it as an investment, you may turn a profit at some stage as long as the buyer is in the same country as you (Brazilian Rosewood is prohibited from shipping across international borders).

We're in agreement with Redwood Tree though - our L7s (910CE-L7 and 914CE-L7) are beautiful to behold and fabulous to play, and we can't imagine selling either of them, whatever someone might offer.

I noticed that this question was asked a couple of years back.

Now I am asking the same question:  what would a mint 914ce L7 (Engelmann-Brazillian) sell for today (2016)?

We're not allowed to discuss pricing anywhere in this forum except for the marketplace.  You might check eBay to see what the guitar is selling for.

Hi again guys,

I was hoping to get a clarification. As far as I know there is only 1 kind of 914ce L7, which uses the combination of Brazillian Rosewood & Engelmann Spruce (top).

However, if you look at eBay (or anywhere for that matter), there are 3 only existing 914ce L7 for sale, but ONLY 1 has the Engelmann Spruce! The other 2 are using Sitka and Adirondack spruces each.  The one with Sitka still has Cindy inlays while the Adirondack version does not.  Confusing...

To anyone who can, please shed some light about these different versions.

I found an official statement made by Bob Taylor:
"The 914ce-L7 promises to fulfil the guitar dreams of a number of players who feel they're ready for that 'ultimate guitar'. The 914ce-L7 sings with the rich, deep tone for which increasingly rare Brazilian rosewood is famous, and the mature warmth of an Engelmann spruce top is the ideal complement for sophisticated tone production. The elegant "Cindy" fret board inlay provides the capper to this classic combination."

Can't find anything about the other 2 versions...  Strange...

  They offered the 900 series L7 in The Fall of 2004, Only
 Taylor has offered 900 in prior years with brazilian , And of corse there were a custom or two made over the years.
 There were approx. 36  GAs , 16  GCs,   10 straight Dreadnought,   some x10ce  Don't know  how many# and 5 Jumbo's
 After holding my 915c L7 for 11 years I recently sold it  :'(
