For whatever lame reason, a Rayovac 9v does not fit well in the battery compartment (frustrating as I found out when I found I had a dead battery during sound check, and all we had were Rayovacs ...ugh!!!). It's Duracells or Eveready for me! And don't forget to pack a spare, doh :)

DuracellS are my favorite. They go on forever!
-
i thought that, at first, it was because they didn't last -
i don't imagine that a new battery would help much if it didn't fit :(
thanks for the 'head's up' on this, Edward
just wondering what you ended up doing -
hopefully you were able to swap out a good battery from
something else, where the Ray-O-Vac's fit wasn't an issue

Yeah, man ...scavanged one up from someone's DI box! Guess who now carries a spare with him!! Which is really funny since I have spares of everything else ...except a battery ...lol!!! :D
