:-* :-* :-* :-* :-*
I'm working on permission for one of my own this year.
-
That is one very nice 12 string. Love it.
-
Handsome guitar! I'm glad the sound matches the looks!
-
Sachi,
It's my first Taylor, and I'm very impressed with the balanced tone and the volume it puts out. Heavy picking on a12 can sound harsh, so not having to go at it hard to fill in the mix is a positive for me. I've heard some folks on other forums talk about Taylor's sounding thin. Not here.

Bjasso, Congrats!, I love Koa and have had a couple K65s, Miss the magic sound Taylor Koa 12ers make
They only get better with time .Enjoy :)
-
Very nice! Looks like and orchestra too! How sweet the sound!
Congrats BJ!

A Taylor 12 in a GS body is a winner. Yours with abalone binding and koa is out of the ballpark! Enjoy :)

Congrats on you new 12 string. I hope you have many years of enjoyment with it.

12 strings are what Koa does best and you got a beauty! Congrats!

If this baby sounds half as sweet as she looks, you are one lucky person. This is a real beauty. I have a friend who is awaiting the arrival of his new 12 string around the last week of the month. It has been on order for a little over a month now and he told me Friday it is getting more difficult waiting.
I am happy for you in getting this new instrument :)
-
Barefooted,
I can empathize with your friend. It was a very long 45 days till delivery. Tell you buddy to take deep breaths, lots of scotch, and the wait will definitely be worth it!!!!!!
-
my goodness!

Beautiful instrument - it's wonderful to see the evolution of the koa series from one of the first ever made. Here's a few pics of my 1995 GA-KS:

The tradition has been maintained in a very tasteful way. Enjoy your new baby -she's a stunner!
-
Congrats! I have your guitar's big brother, the K65ce, and can tell you they only get better with time.
Enjoy!!!
-
That is a beautiful GA-KS. :o

Thanks bjasso-
Thought I'd give you a glimpse of what you have to look forward to as your baby matures.
Have fun!

I really like the fingerboard markers, nice design.
I never have played a 12 string much, I have my hands full with 6 strings. I did once owned a Takamine 400, it was the lawsuit model and it sounded pretty good but I sold it to help fund yet another Taylor.
-
That looks great, I should try a 12 string someday :)
That's a lot of strings to tune!
