Awesome wood grain on the cocobolo! I wish you many years of enjoyment.

Awesome coco. But you have to give us a peak at the front. Come on, just a peak.

I love cocobolo. Never played one but I love the way it looks. Hopefully I will get my hands on one soon. Congrats on your purchase!

Take one or two big steps back and the retake those pics! ;D ;D I've never played a cocobolo guit. I'd love to check one of these out in my local shop. The Koa 314 would be fun to check out as well.

Sorry having some photo import problems but will try to get these going...

Here's what I can tell you about Cocobolo/Sitka limiteds -- I have one from 2002. As good as I thought it sounded then (and it sounded GOOD), ten years of play and maturation have turned the guitar into a tone monster! And this is before the change in bracing patterns - CV or the Standard II forward shift pattern. I can only imagine what yours will sound like in a few years...
Enjoy!

G day Dave, welcome to the Cocobolo club, My 35th anniversary coco GS gets better every time I play it. I don't baby it anymore and take it to gigs and even open mics now.
I don't just let anyone play it, but have heard it from the back of the room a couple of times.
Everytime I lend it, the expression on the players face when they start digging in is priceless.
I agree with Gutch they just get better.
Enjoy mate.

Hopefully, this link will get you pics.
Thanks Coldshot and Gutch.
I played one of the Fall LTD Cocos with the boxwood trim and it appeared to me that it had so much finish on it, the tone was greatly affected.
The Spring LTD I just bought sounds like it has already opened up. At least guitars get better with age, eh?
