Go to "profile" then go into "account settings" then to "modify profile" then click on "personal messaging"  and put a check mark next to "Save a copy of each personal message in my sent items by default. "

Hope this helps!!!!!   ;D

Very helpful! I just went in and made changes -- by making sure it saves a copy and choosing to display messages as a conversation, the PMs end up feeling more like a thread on the board, which is really nice.

I already had that checked.  But where are my sent messages?  This should be obvious and intuitive...or maybe it is to everyone but me......??

Click "messages" then click "sent items" under the messages on the left side bar.

The best part about the sent items is that when you PM another member...when they PM you back it'll post the reply underneath your original sent item in your inbox so you can follow the conversation....similar to Gmail.

Thank you, Sir!  Found it......with your guidance.  It would seem much simpler if a member just clicked on My Messages and then got immediate choices of both sent and received messages.

+1 on that!  It took me a minute or two to find it.  It's just the SMF software.   ::)  But you should be good to go!!!   ;D
