I am hoping to get some suggestions for a sturdy case for my Mahogany Baby Taylor. Do you have any recommendations or personal preferences? Thank you

When I got my Baby Taylor many moons ago (1996, first year) it came with an SKB thermoplastic hard case with Taylor logo molded in. After that year they came with gig bags. Perhaps SKB still makes those? I sold the case and guitar to a friend for his son, probably in 2005.

SKB stil makes the model 300 case for the Little Martin and Baby Taylor. Prices aren't cheap but it's a solidly protectant case IMHO.

Yeah, I recall that SKB myself. Long ago, though, so who knows if it's still available,
To the OP,
My suggestion is forego the hardcase and stick to the Taylor soft bag which is better than many guit bags out there. So long as you're not throwing the guit into a cargo hold (like checking it in on an airline) it is excellent protection.

Yes, as I stated just above, the SKB is still made and available.
All well and good to suggest a gig bag only as they're lighter and easier to transport. All well and good UNTIL you get a plane where you can't carry on. You can TRY to gate check it at that point but it just might end up out of your hands and in the cargo hold. I definitely would not want my guitar in a gig bag (most gig bags anyway including the Baby Taylor's gig bag) in there in that situation but rather a hard case....like the SKB. ::)
