Just saw this video from AMS Music at Namm with Zach from Taylor. A few things so new, I can't find anything about them online.
A new entry level C14 and C24 sub $500 ?!? They have the Big Baby screws in the fretboard neck.

Ooh, thanks for posting that ...nice summary of Taylor for the new year.
I like that the Legacys are including the venerable 714 and 514. Taylor does such a stellar job with cedar. So often overlooked it's a shame so I'm glad they did these models!
Interesting to note that many had "streaked" ebony boards. There was a thread (on that other forum ;) ) about Taylor "moving away" from the streaked ebony, but this "showcase" of sorts dispels that wholly. Especially the Builder's Edition that sports a lovely streaked board.
The new "entry line" is a great addition! And at under $500, wow! I know that the die-hard Taylor-naysayers will deride the fretboard screws, but the rest of the build quality, and of course tone being "full Taylor" is a fabulous way to bring a "budget" guitar into the fold.
The 300 Studio is a nice move, IMO. I like the aesthetics and prefer its look over the AD ...at least in videos :)

Hi Edward, I think it's cool they brought back cedar for the 514 and 714 too.
Im curious about the entry level, I had a Big Baby a long time ago, and it was a nice guitar.
There was a rumor the 300 Studio series were going to be a joint venture between the Mexican & US factories. They are calling it US made, I'd like to know the what the deal is there

^^^Fwiw, I've had my BabyT since 99 and it has logged serious miles and use over these decades! Even earned a crack on the edge of the upper bout (when I stupidly let my tele drop on it), but is none the worse for it. It has had exactly one fix: saddle reshaped for better intonation, and that was when I got it in 99; it has been flawless since! It's certainly a niche guitar and by no means has the "utility" of a GSm, but it's still a great guit that I would never sell, and will only give away to a loved one.
The new "C" series is great idea IMO, carrying over the "simple build" of the "Baby" guits, but at full size/scale. But the 300 Studio seems to me like a real winner in that next price tier. Not so much a "beginner's" guitar as a yeoman's instrument ready to perform, but not stress over its cost. I recall way back in the day how countless folks bought 300s and gigged them because of their price and utility! I think Taylor's use of the "US Made" thing is one of those legal commerce nuances where meeting a percentage of this or that defines whether it's an import or MIA.
