Play music on the porch day

Mission accomplished. At least a dozen songs worth.

After Action Report:

my "Play Music on the Porch" list 08/31/24

Walk Don't Run*
Spanish Harlem*/Maria Elena*
Pipeline*
Honky Tonk Man
Blue Sky
Keep Your Hands Off Her
Midnight Special
It's Only Love
Who'll Stop the Rain
Ghost Riders in the Sky/Apache*/Ghost Riders in the Sky*
Urge For Going
Sunny Afternoon
Lady Jane
A White Sport Coat
Big Iron
Massachusetts

' * ' = instrumental only

Played on my spruce/rosewood Taylor 818 uber-Jumbo Grand Orchestra.
Thought of switching to a 12 string, but I was in a groove.

It was a total gas.

I fingerpick all my guitars using my nails as picks.

Been playing for 60 years, so my songs are a bit on the older side. In fact, "Maria Elena" and the two Leadbelly songs are older than I am.

Be well and play well,

Don

Didn’t know about this day. Being February in Montana right now, I’ll wait for the official day!

The official day is usually near the end of August.

Also good to remember is National Talk like a Pirate Day, which I believe will liven up the odd Sep 19th.

Avast mateys, belay that order to come about.
