Title: Did Taylor stop making the 522?

I don't see it on their website, and most online stores show them as unavailable.  Just curious.

It sure looks that way.  They still offer the same all mahogany incarnation in the 322 line though.  I think they just like resetting their product line to keep it from looking stale.  In my humble opinion, the 522 12 fret was one of the best guitars in their lineup.  The 322 is hopefully pretty close.... I do wish they'd settle on a basic lineup and leave it alone.  They could have a slot in each series for their experimental/limited builds....
