Title: what's the version of 914ce?
Post by: aosha on June 05, 2022, 04:24:18 AM
Hi folks!

Tell me please what is the 914ce version in this video? Is it 914ce First Edition (non v-class, but there are armrest and new inlays)? Sound is great.

Thank you.

Hi aosha
These  two both have slanted back bracing making me think there both V-Class ?
Only thing I seen different was one had a White Nut and the Other a Black Nut. Taylor started with the Black nut a couple years ago.

To me Standard meant straight across back braces and X-Brace top.  I like the sound of the white nut 914 myself
 Thanks that was nice. 8)

Andy Powers version, pre V class bracing.  2016 probably.

Side note: the graphite on any series nut denotes a v-braced guitar.
