Title: gs mini limited editions

Has anyboyd ever actually seen any of the limited editions available anywhere?

I know there's been a gs mini with cocobolo back and sides (the one I really want), blackwood, maple, and now the ziricote.

I never see these in the wild.  Anybody have any leads?

I have seen(had) the Holden Mini with the Maple back and sides. I don’t always watch the guitar market but I don’t recall seeing many of them come up for sale. I would watch Reverb regularly if looking for a specific one.

my friend bought a gs mini cocobolo a couple years ago. i saw it listed and sent it to him.

i know tobias music in downers grove has 4 african ziricote models now. they look like sassafras in appearance, the mexican ziricote is the dark stuff i’m used to

there have been a lot of GS mini limiteds in different woods..
but some aren't really limiteds, some are actually just "prototypes".
I actually have one of the Cocobolo Minis, it is a prototype, only seen one other ever out there anywhere..
