Say hello to the first left-handed V-class 618e ever produced.
-
What a gorgeous guitar regardless of left or right handed! Tell us: how does it sound? Congrats!
-
It sounds gorgeous. Full and clear through all 3 ranges, very well balanced. Sustain for days.
Despite the large body, it was immediately comfortable and so easy to play. It really is a finely crafted piece of art.

Gotta love those maple GOs. Thanks!
-
Ahhhh, it arrived!...congrats man!!! Of all the GOs I tried (along with the old mahogany one) I think the maple GO is the best of this ilk. Enjoy in good health sir!

Ever since that unique burst came out (I think it's called antique burst), I've loved it. Yours is surely a beauty. You're going to enjoy that!
-
Gorgeous guitar! Maple on a large body guitar is the sweet spot. Enjoy the ride!
-
Oh myyy - it sure is gorgeous! Many congrats and enjoy!

But Chris_T, it's upside down. Just kidding. A very nice guitar. Glad it sounds so great. Play it like a rock star.

Thanks to all for your comments.
I am in love with this guitar. Now I have to become worthy of it.
-
Congrats! You wouldn't have by any chance ever had the opportunity to compare this to the X-braced version would you? I'd definitely be curious as to whether or not you'd feel there is any loss of bass or the midrange being too hot.
-
I did not but to my ear it is perfectly balanced.
-
Congrats Chris, great looking guitar and after you dry it out should complement your new Martin nicely giving you a range of “sonic” flavors to have to choose from every time you play, lucky you! Glad you found this and hoping the Martin dries up well too, maybe a group pic of the three together after that happens? Enjoy playing that herd.

I felt the same way when buying my Taylors.
It worked. I became a much better player. Haven't slowed down either.
I just love to make them sing. (since I cannot).
