Checking records on Reverb.com I see that is just over 2 years since I bought my Taylor, a 2014 414ce Spring Ltd . I had been playing for less than a year at the time so it was a bit crazy for a beginner but I believed it to be well priced so I could always sell it. After two years however, I have grown into it and it is now my favourite guitar and would never dream of selling it. I took a chance and ordered it from the west coast and it worked out.
I admit to some GAS inspired purchases and I am now selling off a couple guitars that I never warmed up to - but not Taylors, those I am expanding. Just the day before yesterday I ordered online my 2nd, and first brand new Taylor, a 'GS Mini Koa Plus' I am anxiously checking the FedEx tracking and see it could be high above western Canada right now on a FedEx plane - should be here by Wednesday.
I also play electric guitar, one of my 2 Epiphones, the Casino Coupe hollowbody or the new 2020 Les Paul Muse.
Looking forward to being part of the community of Taylor enthusiasts...
Here is the 414ce pictured below. The strap I recently received from a custom strap company called 'Native Sons'. It took forever to arrive because Canada Customs had to inspect it closely because the backing is made of hemp.

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on both of your Taylor's. I also just picked up a GSM Koa Plus, which I just love. Would love to hear your impressions after you get it. You should enjoy your time here....plenty of friendly folks.

Welcome to the forum microsnout. The 414 is an excellent guitar, plus it is a Ltd. so it has some extra upgrades. Congratulations on both the new incoming and the 2 year anniversary.
Love to see photos of the new GS Mini Koa Plus coming in.

Well the Mini arrived a bit quicker than expected.
I am indeed pleased with the tone of this guitar. A few weeks ago I sold a parlour guitar that I never really warmed up to so that I could replace it with this one - and it was a good choice. This guitar is a bit bigger and sounds a whole lot bigger. I did not have any problem with the reduced nut width compared to my 414 but maybe that's from practicing on my electric.
I hoping this guitar will be the inspiration I need to put the pick down and finally work on finger style guitar.
Here are the unboxing photos I posted in the counting thread:
