Title: American Dream models

So, now that most are aware of the new Taylor American Dream guitar lineup...has anybody here actually seen one in the wild, and spent some time playing one? If so...how do they compare in playability and tonality to the higher-priced Grand Pacific Builders Editions?

With a price point under $1800 with the ES2 or without, I'm heavily tempted to buy one...but it would have to be via an online vendor, so I'm trying to get an idea of what I'm getting before plopping down my money.

I called my closest dealer, about 40 minutes south of me, and he said they were only able to get three of them on order, but they don't have an expected shipping date yet...

I've seen that ZZounds, Sweetwater and some other online retailers have them in stock already. Taylor might be more apt to service the dealers that order in much larger numbers than our local dealers. That's why I said I would probably have to buy from an online source.

i don’t have one - but my friends at Casino Guitars have them.
