Title: Hello from Dacula, GA
Post by: UncleJeff on May 08, 2020, 09:06:13 PM
I hadn’t played guitar in decades and when my nephew started giving guitar lessons I decided to get a new guitar and give it a go. My budget was $1,000. We headed to a couple of  stores and tried out guitars all day. With my nephew’s help, a Martin man, we decided on the Taylor 110e. I’m only 3 months in at this time.
(May 8th, 2020 crazy times). I’m progressing as well as these old hands will allow. Number one thing is that it is fun. The only drawback so far is that I developed a buzz. I took it to the luthier and after checking it over he told me that the saddle was too low. So with a new bone saddle and a set up I’m back playing. It almost killed me to be without my Taylor for a few days. I accused my nephew of addicting me to guitar. He said he was glad to help.

This is what it is all about. Glad you're back at it.

Welcome back to playing. You picked a good one to get "back in the saddle".
