I played a 714ce, rosewood/cedar, through this new-model amp, the Loudbox Artist 120w, today at the local Guitar Center. I've never touched a Fishman amp in my life before. Fishman says it got an award at NAMM 2012 for this amp. I was HIGHLY impressed with the sound and its many features. The specs say it weighs 25.5 lbs which isn't bad at all. I'm also looking at the 60w version, the Loudbox Mini Pro, which doesn't have as many features but weighs only 19.7 lbs.
By the way, the rosewood/cedar combination is outstanding.

My wife gave me a Loudbox mini for my birthday in November. It's great for use in the house. It does not however have any headroom. If I had a T5 I would go with the Artist model so that if you play in a large room you will have no concerns. Now I need to justify to my wife why we need the 120w capability. My only plausible argument are the added features and we can plug-in her Korg keyboard for duets and have sufficient power! She'll see through my ploy!

I have the Mini and use it with my 814ce and Epi Masterbilt. I think it's an awesome little amp. I bought mine from Musician's Friend for what I think was a great price. It was a promo that included a mic, mic stand, and cable. I was having a problem with mine: a hissing whenever I connected my 814 to it. The original thought was that the ES fuse blew, so that was changed and the problem temorarily went away. I brough the guitar to an authorize Taylor repair shop in Atlanta, where it was plugged in to a Mini and there was no hissing. I called MF and returned it for a replacement, which I should receive today and hopefully the problem will be solved.
For my purposes the Mini is perfect, but I can see eventually "upgrading" to the Artist. It looks like a great amp!

Thanks, my man, but don't congratulate me yet. I haven't bought either the guitar or the amp.....yet, but the "discovery" was a real great moment. The experience settled my mind that I want a Taylor CE-something with the rosewood/cedar combo so that's what I'm going to do. You are adding confidence to my choice on that. Thanks! I'm working with L.A. Guitars as we speak, and will report on this in a new thread real soon.
