Hello everyone!
Just found this forum online -- Greetings from Alexandria, VA
Started lessons about 1.5 years ago at age 69 -- who says you can't teach old dogs new tricks?  In college I took one and a half piano lessons!  Just could not get the right hand and the left hand to work together doing different things.  Seems to be working okay with the guitar!!!  I'm playing on a Taylor 314ce

Welcome to the forum, new member here as well.  Also, welcome to the wonderful world of guitar playing.  I am 68, have been playing since I was 9 and still learning.
