New guy from Connecticut.

Where is Connecticut? It's in between NYC & Boston.

I have two acoustics, a 1967 Gibson B2512 and a 2001 Taylor 810ce. I'm a daily player, turning 60 years old this year and I mostly like playing metal from the 80's and 90's.

I also write songs that many people like and still play out in several bands, one a typical cover band and the other a deep cuts band playing the great songs no other band plays. When playing at gigs where we compare set lists, they other bands marvel at our list, "you guys play that?" is always heard.

Nice looking guitars! You've got me curious about the deep cut songs you guys play. What are the ones that have people saying "you guys play that?"

Hello Markedman,

Should I call you Mark?

Another belated stop from the Welcome wagon.

I'm from the greater (or not so great to some) Boston area, still live in eastern Massachusetts, so that would make us 'greater' neighbors. Besides a state line, we also share Native American state names. And I have a few years on you as a full 'fledged' senior citizen. But no 'wings' as yet, and not looking forward to that transformation.  ::)

Also like your choice of acoustic guitars, especially the Gibson 12 string.

As was previously asked a couple of posts ago, I too would be interested in titles in your 'you guys play that?' list. I am a very curious cat by nature, and use a lot of older titles in the Music Association Game in the Lounge section of this forum. Always looking for new and old ideas and 'one-hit wonders'.

Be well,
Don
